The SA Awards and Recognition Committee is responsible for facilitating opportunities to recognize student affairs staff. The work of the committee is not only to provide celebrations for success but also facilitate ways that staff can recognize other staff members for workplace achievements.

The SA Wellbeing Committee facilitates and promotes opportunities to support Student Affairs staff wellbeing.
Membership & Structure: 5 Committee Members in addition to the Chair with one committee member from the Rec. Sports Department and Counseling and Psychological Services. Current Chair: Crystal Hinga, Assistant Director. Student Media and Publications
The safety and wellbeing of our community is paramount. Staff are encouraged to submit a Student of Concern Report when students’ behavior may be harmful to themselves or others or when students are in need of resources and support for personal and academic success.
Cases you wish to refer to the Student Behavior Intervention Team (SBIT) should be submitted using this form. More information on SBIT can be found at utep.edu/SBIT. Contact the DOS Office at (915) 747-5648 with any questions.
Student Affairs staff meet every semester and during the summer. Information about all-staff meetings will be shared via email.
